How we use personal information, in plain English.

Last updated 23 October 2026.

Who we are

Silvermoor Holdings Limited is a company registered in England and Wales, number 17522950. Our registered office is Piccadilly Business Centre, Unit C, Aldow Enterprise Park, Blackett Street, Manchester, M12 6AE.

We decide how and why personal information is used, so we are what the law calls the controller. To contact us about any of this, email our address, shown when JavaScript is switched on.

What we hold

  • What you tell us when you email, call or write to us, such as your name, your business and your contact details.
  • Business contact details from public records, such as Companies House, and from business data providers. We use these to write to the owners of businesses we might want to buy.

When we write to you, we will say where we found your details.

Why we use it

  • To reply to you.
  • To decide whether we might buy your business.
  • To write to business owners about the possibility of a sale.

Our legal basis is legitimate interests. In plain terms, buying businesses means contacting their owners, and we try to do that in a way that is respectful and easy to say no to.

Who sees it

Our email is provided by Google and this website is hosted by Cloudflare, so both handle information on our behalf. Some of that handling happens outside the UK, with the protections the law requires. If you decide to go further, our accountants and lawyers may see what is needed to do their work. We never sell personal information.

How long we keep it

If we speak and nothing comes of it, we delete your details 12 months after our last conversation. If we write to you and you do not reply, we keep your details only as long as we need them to avoid contacting you again unnecessarily.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it. You can also object to us writing to you about a sale, and we will stop straight away. Email us and we will act. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we will keep just enough information, such as your name and address on a do-not-contact list, to make sure we do not.

Complaints

Please tell us first and we will do our best to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and logs

This website does not use cookies or analytics, and does not load anything from third parties. Our host records visitors' IP addresses in routine server logs to keep the site running and secure.
